hello everyone! This week was more of a "finding" week and less of a "teaching" week.  On Wednesday we had "Diamond Day" which is where our whole mission dedicates one entire day to a day of contacting.  So everyone canceled all their appointments if they could and we just contacted people on the street all day long.  Our goal as a mission was to get 2015 futures (people who we got their contact info and said they´d listen to us).  And we ended up getting over 2400 so it was a really good day!  Here in Córdoba we did splits for the day and I went with Elder Móran.  We went to a big walkway close to the train station and we basically walked up and down it the entire time because it was the best place to find people.  It was really fun! We had a ton of success in the morning but after lunch we only got 2 people´s info (nobody wanted to talk haha).  But I still enjoyed it!  It was a good day and hopefully the mission will see some fruits from all those people!

Investigator wise we still haven´t seen Carlos.  I called him almost everyday and he never answered until finally he did Saturday! It was his birthday this week so I guess that means not to answer Elder Stephens´s phone calls ever but it´s all good I understand he said he´ll see us this week.

Stephanie´s baby is so cute! His name is Liam and he is a cutie.  We´ve talked to Her and Luigi a few times but they are always really tired so whenever we go we try to make it real quick.  We gave them a lesson on the Book of Mormon and how if they want a testimony they need to read it and pray about it.  Then Stephanie said that she wants us to read it with her because sometimes it´s hard for her to understand.  We said we won´t be able to read the whole book with her but we´ll love to read a couple times a week with her and Luigi!  So that will be fun.

Also last Tuesday Elder Turley and I got invited to a man named José to eat lunch with him.  He makes the best food ever!!!!! He made us the classic spanish paella which is basically rice and chicken but amazing. He is homosexual so I was praying that nothing weird would go down hahah.  But he is really nice and funny! I feel so bad because he is not happy with his life at all because he has no kids and no family.  I was thinking about how the Plan of Happiness and the Proclamation to the Family. We have been given the model of how we can achieve having a family that´s close and united and it´s through the gospel and following this plan that God has given us.  I know this is true because on the mission I´ve seen families that have followed this model and families that don´t.  I´m greatful for having a family that wants to follow this plan and one day I´ll have my own family and we will be close and united through following the teachings of Jesus Christ!
