few months ago I told you guys that there was a family here in Almeria
from Argentina that was going to Salt Lake to see their daughter get
married. When they went two days before the wedding the dad had a
huge heart attack/stroke and was in the hospital in Murray for weeks.
It was literally a miracle that he got out of it alive. And it was
basically impossible that he came out of it healthy without any
defects with his brain or parts of his body. But apparently he's
more or less ok now. Think how hard it would be to have something
like that happen to you in a foreign country!
So he's returning here to Almeria Saturday morning. He's out of the
hospital now and him and his wife are staying in the house of the
Relief Society president of their daughter in Sandy until they leave
Saturday.
I know all this because I was talking to their other son who lives
here in Almeria. He was there in Salt Lake during this whole last
month with his dad. He gave me the number of his mom and of the
relief society president of his sister.
So I want you guys to call them and try visit them before they leave!
They don't speak English so Josh you will have to call them. Say that
you're the brother of Elder Stephens the missionary that's serving in
Almeria and you want to visit them. They know who I am.
It would mean a lot for me if you guys went and visited them. It's
been a really hard last month for them and I think it would mean a lot
if you guys went and visited them.
