Hola! This week was a great last week with Elder Chacón. So Tuesday we
had an eating appointment with our Columbian investigators Rosario and
Emi!  They called us Tuesday morning and told us to invite the other
missionaries that are serving here in Almería, how awesome is that!
Investigators already inviting all the missionaries over to eat haha.
But the best part is Emi works as a cook ???? she gave us this Chicken
soup with rice so amazing!  Anyway so now I'll get to the best part.
Friday we went back to teach Rosario and her two kids (Emi left
Wednesday on vacation to Madrid).  We invited her and her son Daren to
be baptized the 5th of September and they accepted!! It was an awesome
lesson we read 3 Nephi 11 when Christ visits the Americas and teaches
about baptism.  Daren is a straight "maquina"!! He really likes the
church and the Book of Mormon. The sad part is that they didn't come
to church yesterday.... We called a bunch of times but her phone was
off and we passed by her house and they weren't there soooo we'll see
what happened with them this week but keep them in your prayers!

Other good news though our investigators Angel and Maira came to
church!! My comp and I showed up 30 minutes early at 10 and they were
already there sitting down. They thought it started at 10 but oh well!
 It went well but they left after sacrament because I think they got a
little scared.. The talks were pretty intense talks about tithing and
enduring to the end. The first lady was basically like "EVERYBODY PAY
YOUR FETCHING TITHING!!" and the last guy was basically like "DON'T
FETCHING GO TO THE BEACH ON SUNDAY MORNING AND COME TO CHURCH!!" After
the meeting I asked Maira how she liked it and she said "ehhh" and
shook her hand side to side so that wasn't a very good response haha.
I didn't get the chance to talk to them much more but this week we'll
pass by them and answer their questions/doubts.

Transfers this week andddd I'm staying here in Almería and my new
companion will be Elder Lowry!  He's already serving here in Almería
so they are closing one area here in Almería.  Elder Lowry is the
blonde skinnier one in the photos I've been sending home.  His comp
leaves and my comp leaves and our areas are combining.  It'll be an
exciting next transfer.  Now that we are combining our areas we're
going to have A LOT of work. Well at least I would think so haha.  So
now it'll be just us and the hermanas in Almería.  I'll be district
leader so that'll be a little change.  It'll be nice because maybe
Elder Lowry will want to actually study in the morning and plan and
stuff like that haha.

I just realized I hit 11 months yesterday! Madre mía time goes by fast.
